Summary:  

I never even knew until this movie that Jules Verne had such an utterly fascinating life. I especially liked when Verne single–handedly kills all those communist ninjas and the part in which he is crowned for the first President of the World.  I didn't understood why were all those scenes of hardcore sex with playmates necessary but I guess that was something from the biography which is, unfortunately incredible hard to find. Apparently, it was never re–issued after its writer - who also served as an adviser for historical accuracy in this movie - committed suicide just after the premiere.

Glenn Knickerbocker shows incredible variety of his talent by not just acting but also producing, re-directing, and re–writing the screenplay of this movie! Apparently, most of the workers on this movie were unable to understand Glenn's artistic vision so he fired them and finished the movie by himself. What a talent!

I conclude this outline by the DVD comment of Glenn himself who, simply, bluntly and yet aptly says: "I did this movie 'cause I wanted to do some art. And art is all about nudity of human body. Especially of women. Like in all those italian pictures by Botticelli and Ferrarri.  I also think that French is the nation of art so I wanted to symbolize that by playing a Frenchman."
